On Tuesday, July 22, 2025 between approximately 8-10 PM EST, our Matrix vendor reset password change requirements for all OneKey MLS customers. The first time log in after that date/time, will produce a prompt to reset your password. Read on for the answers to common questions.
What is prompting this action?
Our Matrix vendor alerted us to a small number of user credentials being used in phishing attempts via the Matrix application’s email feature. In response, access to affected accounts has been blocked to prevent further misuse, and a full investigation is underway.
Has my data been compromised?
No, there is currently no evidence of a data breach. Your data remains secure.
Why do I need to update my password if my data hasn’t been compromised?
As a preventative measure, our vendor is proactively resetting all passwords to eliminate any potential vulnerabilities and safeguard your account.
How can I prepare for the password reset?
Please make sure you have your current Login id and password handy – as you may need them to complete the password reset process.
Can I reset my password right now to avoid the prompt after July 22 (8-10PM EST)?
No, the password reset will be handled by our vendor to ensure complete system security. All passwords will be reset during this process.
Will I be kicked out of my session if I'm logged in July 22, 8-10 PM EST?
No, you will not be kicked out of your session. The password reset prompt will occur the next time you log in.
How do I retrieve my current ID and password if it’s saved in my Chrome browser?
Follow these steps to access your saved credentials:
- Open a Chrome browser
- Click on your profile icon in the top right
- Click on Autofill and Passwords
- Click on Google Password Manager
- Select the arrow next to the website and then click on Show password
- You may need to enter your Windows password depending on your network settings. If prompted, enter your Windows password.
- Your associated username and password are then accessible. Click on the eye icon to view your password.
