When emails are sent through the Matrix platform, they originate from the Matrix mail server rather than a personal email address. Even though the email appears to come from you as an agent with your email address as the sender, certain spam filters treat this masking as suspicious, causing the email to be diverted to your Junk or Spam folder. Most email providers will treat email addresses that are in your addressbook or contacts as allowed. An easy first step is to add "*@onekeymls.com" and "KEY@northeastmatrixmail.com" to your contacts or address book. As a preemptive step you may want to prepare your clients who may receive email from you through Matrix to do this also. If you already have found mail in your spam, below are steps to prevent this from happening again, (or at all) featuring some popular email providers.
Gmail
- Open Gmail and go to your Spam folder in the left sidebar.
- Find the OneKey/Matrix email and open it.
- Click the Not spam button at the top of the message or Report not Spam option. Gmail will move it to your inbox and learn to accept future emails.
Outlook (Outlook.com / Microsoft 365)
Click the Settings gear icon (top right).
- Search for "Junk email" and select it from the results.
- In the Senders section, under Safe senders and domains, click + Add safe sender.
Type "smart@northeastmatrixmail.com" and click OK, then Save.
Apple Mail (Mac, iPhone, iPad)
- Open the Mail app and go to your Junk mailbox.
- Find and open the OneKey/Matrix email.
Click the 3 dots on the top menu and select Move to Inbox
Yahoo Mail
- Log into Yahoo Mail and open the Spam folder.
- Find and open the OneKey/Matrix email.
- To permanently allow: Click the 3 dots on the top bar, and select Add sender to contacts.
