Need to determine how you or your office are performing in a particular market or market segment? Run the ranking report regularly for insight into market performance by member, office, or firm determined by volume, transactions, or average price for either list or sale sides or total.
- Click on Market Reports on the main menu in Matrix
2. Select Rankings Report
3.Then select your desired criteria (only start and end date are required)
- Group will determine what cohort you are ranking. Your options are: Firm, Member, or Office. Select your desired Group from the dropdown.
- Sort will determine what figure is used to find rankings. Your options are: Total Volume, Total Transactions, List Side Volume, List Side Transactions, Sale Side Volume, Sale Side Transactions, Group By or Average Price. Select your desired Sort from the dropdown.
- Top will determine how many results will be detailed in the display and what will be added to arrive at the sum in the Total at the bottom of the page. Enter the desired number of results as a number.
4. Click Generate Report.
As indicated above, the criteria entered will determine what information is included in this report:

Based on criteria selected this may be Office Name and MLS ID, Agent Name and MLS ID, or Firm Name and MLS ID . |
Office |
The Office Name and MLS ID of the member. |
Transactions |
List: The amount of listed properties for the [group] during the selected time period. Sold: The amount of sold properties for the [group] during the selected time period. Total: The total number of listed and sold properties for the [group] during the selected time period. |
Volume Total |
The total price of listed and sold properties for the [group] during the selected time period. |
Average Price |
The average price that listings listed and sold properties for the [group] during the selected time period. Determined by dividing the Volume total by the Total Transactions. |
Market Share |
The percentage of a market's total sales that is earned by a particular [group] during the selected time period. |
Total, Other and Grand Total amounts can be found at the bottom of the report.
- Total indicates the total of the columns above using the criteria included in the Top field
- Other indicates quantities not included based on Top field criteria. Note: this field may be extremely large based on criteria selected.
For example, if searching based on:
Date: 1 Month Range
Property Type: Residential
Area: Nassau County
Group: Office
Sort: Total Transactions
Top: 10
The Total column will display the sum of the top 10 that meet the criteria, the Other column will display the sum of the remaining offices meeting the criteria (excluding the top 10), and the Grand Total will display the sum of Total and Other.
Note: Listing volume of each listing is split 50/50 between the Listing Agent and Co-Listing Agent, if there is no Co-Listing Agent then the Listing Agent receives 100% of the listing total. The same applies for Selling Agents and Co-Selling Agents.
