Timeline
November 12, 2024
Be advised that there will be a maintenance period from 5pm, November 12, 2024, to approximately 8am, November 13, 2024 when Matrix and MLS-Touch will be unavailable as the upgrade takes place. OneKeyMLS.com, Remine, and RPR are all options for you to utilize during the maintenance period.
November 13, 2024
You will receive an email November 13, from our CoreLogic partner, Clareity, to establish multi-factor authentication. Please utilize the link in that email to enroll within 72 hours of receipt. And set aside time to review your saved searches and auto email to ensure their criteria still fits your needs and make any needed updates. Customize your Hot Sheets and Market Watch. If you are a listing agent, check that your listings are not missing values in any newly required fields. You will have access to MLS-Touch beginning at 8am November 13, but your personal data may take up to 24 hours from that time to update in the app.
November 14, 2024
Our CoreLogic partners will be resyncing your saved data in MLS-Touch® (Contacts, Saved Searches, Favorites, etc.) for up to 24 hours after the maintenance period and that data may not all be available until 8 am, November 14. If you have customized an MLS-Touch Hot Sheet, please plan to reset that customization after 8 am, November 14.
Prepare for the Upgrade:
- Mark your calendar for the planned maintenance period and plan accordingly. You'll be able to access OneKeyMLS.com, Remine, and RPR to view listing or property information during that time period. Please set aside time on the 29th to verify saved searches and auto email, and customize Hot Sheets and Market Watch.
- Add Key@NorthEastMatrixMail.com to your email safe sender list and ask you clients to do the same. (This will be the new email address listings sent through Matrix will originate from)
- Do a little housekeeping: Ensure that your email address and cell phone number are current with your association. Clean out any outdated saved searches or auto email so you have less to verify once the upgrade is complete. Back up your important records such as saved searches, auto email, saved hot sheets, and customized market watch criteria. Saved searches and auto email will transfer automatically, but as with any data-related change it's best to verify that criteria and results still meet your needs. Saved Hot Sheets (Matrix and MLS-Touch) and Market Watch customizations will not transfer.
Your Next Steps After the Upgrade:
- Set up secure access to your MLS account and information with multi-factor authentication utilizing the link sent from Clareity. Be on the lookout for an email with the subject line: Action Required.
- Explore your new dashboard and take a minute to customize it.
-

FAQs
Why is OneKey doing this update?
Have you ever noticed that in Matrix data entered under some of our fields like amenities is displayed on third-party websites under the Appliances or Security fields? That’s because our current database is from a legacy system and highly customized. To interface with other systems, our data must be remapped according to the Real Estate Standards Organization Data Dictionary (RESO DD).
OneKey® is dedicated to improving data standards and licensing through both RESO and MLS Grid. The best way for the MLS database to comply with the RESO Data Dictionary is to do so at its core (native) level (i.e., when the listing is entered in add/edit mode). Once the listing is entered, the data will be interpreted the same and read uniformly across platforms. This means the data you enter will be consistent whether you’re looking at Matrix, an IDX website, Realtor.com, your in-house back office software, or OneHome™. These upgrades will make it easier and faster for your data to have further reach and new technologies to be adopted, driving innovation in our industry.
The great news is that the system, post-project, will have almost the very same user interface and minimal changes in navigation. The emphasis is on the data and details, so that the edited listing is better organized and makes more sense.
The benefits of RESO DD compliance at the native level include:
- Fields and field names are logical and easily understandable making it easier for both real estate professionals and consumers on third-party sites. And by extension greater reach for your listings and access for consumers.
- Listing input and search fields aligned with the NAR requirement that our out-going data must be compliant with RESO DD format. This eliminates the need for the data to be translated -- thus reducing errors and data degradation.
- Facilitating OneKey® MLS brokers to operate in today’s environment of emerging technologies.
- Enables us to effectively, efficiently, and consistently deliver a quality service to you.

Will custom settings for searches and displays move over to the updated system?
Most customized settings or defaults will still be in place, but please remember that fields have changed so you may want to check that your saved settings and defaults still meet your needs. Some fields may now be available through the Additional Fields like at the bottom of the Search screen.
Market Watch and Hot Sheet customizations will not transfer, so please set aside time to customize those features.
Also, please note that we are streamlining displays and reports to remove those that do not see frequent use, so if any of those were a default, they will no longer be present.
What happens if I have a null value in one of the newly required fields in an Active or Pending listings?
If you need to change the status of an existing listing you will need to complete the following fields if they currently contain a null value: city, listing agreement, postal city, total bedrooms, postal code, county or parish, street name, and lease amount frequency.
Who can I contact for questions, issues, or feedback?
Your HGAR member success and support team is available for your questions: Support@HGAR.com, 914-681-0833.
What is the RESO Data Dictionary?
The RESO DD provides the real estate industry with a common language that allows data to be easily communicated and interpreted by a wide range of systems and databases.
How will this change affect my IDX website and software?
Vendors, including IDX website providers and software vendors that provide products for brokers, will receive communications about the change from MLS Grid. Should you need to update your configuration, learn more here.
What is a Private Listing?
A private listing refers to an office exclusive listing and policies governing these may be found in detail in OneKey Rules and Procedures 316. These listings are visible only within the listing agent's office and will not be aggregated. Listings may be entered as Private Y, and later edited to Private N in an on market status (Active, Coming Soon, Temporarily Off-Market). But listings that are entered as Private N, may not later be edited to reflect Private Y.
How will the conversion impact Listing Data Checker?
We will allow for a grace period while everyone gets acclimated to the new upgrades.
