Matrix allows the flexibility to choose how search results are displayed once populated. One such option is the Agent Single Line display, which is a one-line report that can be customized to your preferences. The Agent Single Line display is a brief view of basic information (address, size, # of bedrooms and bathrooms, etc.) pertaining to each listing. This is very helpful when comparing multiple listings or trying to determine which ones a client may be interested in. Customized displays may be saved, set as the search result default, and if saved will also be an option to print.
1. From the Results tab, click on the Display drop down to select a view. Unless customized, Agent Single Line will be the default display.
2. Quickly customize which information appears in columns by clicking on a column heading (note that the cursor will change to a 4-arrow icon) to cause a new menu to appear.
3. Click the Remove Column option to eliminate a column. Click the Insert Column link to select your desired columns. Select multiple options by holding down the CTRL key as you make your selections (Command if you are on a Mac). Columns can be narrowed or expanded under Pixel Width by entering a specific figure or clicking on Auto-fit. Adjust alignment of the text in a column by selecting from: left, right, or center options.. If a column contains a lot of information, click the Wrap Line checkbox to have it expand the row to accomodate.
4. You may click on column headings to drag and drop them in the desired order.
5. You may choose to sort by a particular column by clicking on the heading. For numerical columns like price, the arrow beside the heading indicates the order, an upward facing arrow indicates ascending order and a down arrow indicates descending order. To perform a multi-level sort, click on the Refine tab at the bottom of the screen and select your desired column(s) to sort by.
6. If desired, once customized, click on the Manage Display (paper/pencil) icon to enter a display name and then save as a copy. Your new display will appear with the prefix "my:" and then display name you selected in the display dropdown for future use and as an option in the print menu.
7. If desired, you can set your new display as the default display for this search type
