Subject: Your MLS. Your Marketplace. Our Next Step.
Dear OneKey MLS Customer,
Last week, we wrote to you about OneKey’s response to Compass and our commitment to you, your clients, and the marketplace we share. We want you to hear directly from us as this matter moves forward, and today we have an important update.
OneKey MLS has joined California Regional Multiple Listing Service (CRMLS) as a plaintiff in its federal lawsuit against Compass. We are asking the court to affirm that our respective rules –designed to ensure the sharing of publicly marketed listings with the MLS– are lawful and procompetitive.
Why does this matter? Because we want to protect the integrity of a fair and open marketplace in New York. Shared listing information helps you find homes for buyers, connect buyers with sellers, and compete through your expertise and service. We believe those benefits are undermined when a participating brokerage benefits from other firms’ listings while withholding its own publicly marketed listings.
We joined this case because those consumer and competitive benefits are worth fighting for. Together with CRMLS, we are asking the court to affirm the rules that make those benefits possible.
Our commitment to true seller choice remains unchanged. OneKey offers private listings, MLS-only exposure, and broader public distribution. Choosing privacy is different from publicly marketing a property while withholding it from the shared MLS. True seller choice and an open, fair, and competitive marketplace can—and should—coexist.
Our focus remains on helping you serve your clients through reliable data, valuable technology, and responsive service. That commitment will continue to extend to every subscriber, regardless of brokerage affiliation.

Thank you for being part of OneKey MLS.
