We believe sellers deserve meaningful choices about how their properties are marketed, and buyers deserve access to a transparent marketplace where housing opportunities don't depend on personal relationships, brokerage affiliation, or market influence.
OneKey already provides sellers with substantial flexibility. They can choose private listings, MLS-only exposure, or broad public distribution. They can also publicly market their properties without displaying the address or opt out of distribution to third-party syndication portals.
At the same time, broker cooperation through OneKey MLS helps to promote competition in the marketplace—by making reliable listing information broadly available, the MLS enables agents and brokerages of all sizes to compete on a more level playing field. This shared framework promotes transparency, supports fair housing objectives, and protects consumers from a fragmented marketplace where access to listings may depend on exclusive relationships.
That's why OneKey is standing firm in its commitment to protecting the cooperative marketplace. We believe allowing publicly marketed listings to be selectively withheld from the MLS would undermine transparency, weaken competition, and ultimately disadvantage agents and consumers.
