Uploading photos to your listing in the MLS offers several advantages like attracting more buyers and creating a first impression. Here are some key points to keep in mind when adding photos to your listing in the OneKey MLS Matrix Add/Edit Listing Manager
Notes:
- Upload up to 36 photos
- Photo file types: JPG, HEIF, or HEIC
- High-resolution photos are recommended and will, automatically, be resized
- If you see a "Low Resolution" tag on a photo, it will NOT stop you from adding the photo, this is an informational message.
- The upload may take sometime. If problems persist try uploading 2 to 3 photos at a time.
To Avoid Fines:
- Upload at least 1 photo to your listing within 24 hours of becoming Active or Coming Soon status
- Do not use another agent/office photos without prior written consent
- Do not use any agent/office branding (Yard signs, logos, etc.) in your photos
- Do not use any misleading photos in a way that misrepresents the property (to be built listings must have denotation on the listing)
1. There are three ways to enter Listing Manager to add or edit your listing photos.
Option 1 Click the Add/Edit option on the main menu, to navigate to the Listing Manager, click on Edit for the desired listing, then click Photos
Option 2 Click My Matrix on the main menu and select My Listings, select the desire listing, an click Manage Photos
Option 3 From the Matrix Dashboard My Listings Widget, click on the desired option. From the resulting list, select the desired listing and click Mange Photos
2. Now that you are on the Photos tab in the Listing Manager click Add or Import the listing photo(s).
Note - Import from another listing option is only available for listings the agent previously listed (with the same office.)
(1) - Make sure you are on the Photos tab
(2) - Add or Import the listing photos (to add photos from a previous listing you've listed, type in the MLS# and click Import Photos). If you are adding photos saved on your device, click Add.
(3) - Click the Browse button to select photos form your device, or drag and drop photos directly from a folder
(4) - Acknowledge, Scroll down and click I Agree to upload the certification to continue selecting or dragging photos from your device to the listing.
Note: Before uploading, if you would like the system to automatically generate photo descriptions, be sure to have that option turned on, if not you can turn it off.
3. The system will automatically upload valid photos and attempt to categorize them using Artificial Intelligence (AI). This AI will analyze the photo and assign a relevant Caption, such as "Kitchen" or "Living Room." This will also be done with photo Descriptions such as "Tray Ceilings" or "Bay Window." Once the photos are loaded make sure all Photo Captions have a valid selection (Select a Caption is not a valid selection), you cannot save your listing without valid photo captions. Descriptions are not required.
4. Use the Actions drop-down to edit your photos.
5. Once your addition or updates are made, and you are ready to leave the Editor and Photos area, choose the following options:
- If your listing is already active or coming soon, use Submit to save your changes and make visible to other MLS users.
- If you would like to leave the screen without saving your updates, use Close to discard any changes.
- If you are saving your listing as incomplete, be sure to use Save as Incomplete.
