Listing Data Checker (LDC) is an automated compliance tool designed to help ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of listings entered into OneKey MLS. LDC continuously monitors listings for potential violations of OneKey MLS Rules and Regulations and notifies agents, brokers, and potentially office managers when issues are detected.
By identifying possible errors early, LDC helps maintain the integrity of OneKey MLS data and promotes a consistent experience for agents, brokers, and consumers.
How It Works
- Automatic Scans: Each time a listing is added or modified, LDC automatically reviews it for missing or incorrect information.
- Rule Enforcement: The system checks data against OneKey MLS rules, such as photo requirements, listing status updates, or incomplete fields.
- Notifications: If a potential issue is found, LDC sends an automated notification to the listing agent, the broker, and, when applicable, the office manager.
- In some cases, agents will be offered a correction window: Agents may have the opportunity to correct violations before a fine is issued. Please refer to Section 1103 of OneKey MLS Rules and Procedures document for more information.
Why It Matters
Accurate and complete listing data benefits everyone in the MLS ecosystem.
- Agents and Brokers: Reduces the risk of compliance fines and ensures listings are properly represented.
- Buyers and Sellers: Provides reliable, up-to-date information for informed decision-making.
- OneKey MLS: Maintains a trusted and consistent database of property information across the marketplace.
