OneKey MLS requires annual review and completion of the OneKey MLS LLC End User License Agreement by all who use the MLS. Read below for common questions and answers.
What's an end user licensing/license agreement?
An end user license agreement (EULA) is a legal contract between a vendor and user, outlining the terms and conditions of use of the software.
How do I review, complete, or print the EULA?
You may review, complete, and print the EULA by visiting your Documents in the OneKey portal. See additional instructions in the knowledge base.
Are there multiple EULAs?
Yes, there is a EULA specific to Participants (brokers) and one specific to Subscribers (agents). The EULA you see is based on your role within your office. The EULA is specific to your member ID in OneKey MLS. If you have multiple IDs with multiple roles, you'll see that reflected in the EULA you're shown.
Why do I have to complete a EULA now? What's changed?
All OneKey MLS customers sign the EULA when they join the MLS, but with the updates to our Rules & Procedures, compensation changes, and a new platform, it was important to update the agreement and ensure everyone reviews and signs it.
What's the difference between Option 1 & Option 2 on the Participant EULA?
The difference between the options reflects whether OneKey MLS is responsible for copyright challenges related to your office's listing data or if you will be responsible for it. :
Option 1 indicates that OneKey MLS will be responsible for making efforts to enforce the copyright licensing related to your firm's listing data.
Option 2 indicates that OneKey MLS will not be responsible for making efforts to enforce the copyright licensing related to your firm's listing data.
What happens if I don't sign the EULA by the deadline?
The consequences of not signing the EULA depends on your role as either Participant or Subscriber.
Participants who do not sign the EULA by the deadline will have their office set to option 2. Participants can update this option at any time.
Subscribers who do not sign the EULA by the deadline will have their own access to the MLS temporarily suspended until the EULA is completed.
I was temporarily suspended and subsequently signed my EULA. How long until my access to the MLS is restored?
Once your EULA is completed your access will be restored in approximately 15 minutes.
Do all users, including admins and staff, need to review and complete the OneKey MLS EULA?
Yes, anyone who has an account and accesses OneKey MLS does need to review and complete the EULA. Reviewing and completing the EULA ensures that all users understand appropriate use and licensing of the data within the MLS and agree to abide by the rules and procedures.
I have multiple logins/accounts:
I'm seeing an error when I try to complete EULAs for each when I'm trying to complete them one right after the other. Why is this happening?
Be sure to complete the EULA, close out of the browser window, and log out BEFORE attempting to complete another EULA.
Does each account need to have a EULA completed?
While each account will receive a prompt to complete the EULA, we can accept a single EULA from a user with multiple accounts.
It is important that if you are the main office broker that the EULA that you complete is the participant EULA please be sure to check the MLS ID that's provided underneath the salutation in your EULA reminder emails, this should match your main office broker ID.
