Need to provide access to your MLS account to a personal assistant or another agent with a shared listing? Matrix offers the capability to set up and manage Teams. Adding someone as part of a team, allows them to access your Matrix account without sharing your password or limiting the number of accounts that can be logged in simultaneously. Once a team has been created, those specific individuals can Impersonate you or work on your behalf to conduct business seamlessly.
When someone is granted permission to either impersonate you or work on your behalf in your Matrix account, they can add or edit listings, view your contacts, auto emails and saved searches.
To add a team member:
1. Click on your name in the top right corner of Matrix dashboard. Select Settings on the dropdown
2. Click Team Settings
3. Select Click here to create a team.
4. Enter the user ID for the team member that you would like to add. Click Find.
5. Select the appropriate permissions
There are two types of team permissions that can be granted in Matrix:
Setting up Impersonate me access.
To provide access to someone who may need to impersonate or work as you, such as a personal assistant; click Have this member Impersonate me. This will allow your personal assistant to log in simultaneously with you. Any changes or edits made in the account will be reflected as you.
Listings printed or emails sent will reflect that they are coming from you.
Work on my Behalf access
In the case where you are co-listing with another agent or usually works with a specific agent, you can grant access for them to work in your account on your behalf. Click Have this member Work on Behalf of me .
Listings printed or emails sent will reflect that specific agent is working on your behalf. Clients will see both agent's names.
Once added the team member's name and information will appear under Team Settings with a highlighted notification that you have enabled a team member. Under Mode, it will also indicate what type of access was granted (to impersonate or work on your behalf). You may disable a team member's access temporarily by clicking Disable this team feature.
You may re-enable this feature at anytime once disabled. Click Re-enable this team feature.
To permanently remove a team member, select the checkbox next to their name and click Delete. To add additional team members, click on Add. There is also an option to name your team. Click Set a Formal Team Name.
Type the name of the team and click Save.
Team members impersonating or working on behalf of another team member should log into their own Matrix account and click Working as. They will have the option to select your account from the dropdown.
