In late September 2025, creators of Transaction Desk, Lone Wolf, will offer an upgraded transaction management software product called Transact. Transact software will be offered in parallel with their existing solution and use will be optional for OneKey MLS Customers. Read on for answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs). Follow this page for updated information as it becomes available.
What is Transact?
Why is Lone Wolf changing their software?
Lone Wolf has identified the following benefits to this software upgrade based largely on customer requests:
- Start every transaction with your client's details and not the listing.
- Streamlined workflows such as: connect clients, properties, paperwork, and compliance in one simple workflow, allowing users to get straight to forms with fewer clicks and forms/docs combined into one area.
- Replicate client details across deals or spin up multiple offer simultaneously.
- Users will be able to email, print, and fax documents at one time.
- Multi-form editor that allows packages such as lead based paint property disclosure and others to be updated and created at once.
- Introduces sub-forms which allows users to avoid gaps in formatting on the form by filling out a pop up to add or edit information.
- Preview panel on right for easy summary and reference.
When will I have to start using Transact?
Transaction Desk and Transact will run in parallel for at least a year, to allow for ample time to learn and adjust to the new software. Lone Wolf has indicated that their rollout will encompass a parallel access period (beginning near the end of September 2025), a mandated adoption period (with an uptick in communication, training opportunities, and communications), and finally a full cutover to Transact. You'll see many communications in Transaction Desk to communicate these changes.
How do I start using Transact?
Beginning September 24, once in Transaction Desk when you start a new transaction, you'll be prompted to select between "Classic" and "New Transactions" options. Classic will keep you in the familiar Transaction Desk and New will take you into the new Transact workflow.
Can I switch between Classic and New?
Transactions should be completed in the platform they were started in. However, with each new transaction after the beginning of the parallel period you'll be able to select your preferred platform.
Will I lose past transactions?
No, Lone Wolf will continue to maintain archives in accordance with state law.
